In memoriam: Jim Rose of Rose and Womble

VAR was saddened to hear today of the passing of one of our members, Jim Rose, of Rose & Womble Realty in the Hampton Roads area.

Calling him a pillar of the real estate community, his son, Van, spoke of Mr. Rose’s “passion for the success of everyone around him every day.”

He was such a force in the lives of his children, daughter-in-law, and two of his grandchildren that they are currently in the business today.

His influence is un-measurable, and we all are in a better place because of him. 

The family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, any contributions on his behalf to be made to the Children’s Ministry of the First Baptist Church of Norfolk.
