The REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) Trustees are composed of one representative from each of the seven VAR regions; five At-Large Trustees, available to any region; and a Larger-Association Trustee for each increment of 2,000 members that local association gains over and above a base of 2,000 members. Trustees serve three-year terms, with a max of two terms at a time. This group meets, as needed, on a quarterly basis. Candidates for the Trustees must fill out an application and have their local association submit a letter of recommendation. Main responsibilities of this group include:
▪ Allocating funds for members of the legislature;
▪ Interviewing and allocating funds for statewide candidates (done every four years);
▪ Passing an annual RPAC budget and supervising the use of RPAC funds; and
▪ Monitoring fundraising progress.
