It was a big General Assembly session for your Law & Policy Team.
In 2007, we shepherded nine key pieces of real estate-related legislation into law, and helped kills dozens of other bills that would have negatively impacted your business. In the 2008 General Assembly Session, we worked to overhaul the Property Owners Association Act, as well as enact changes in Virginia law related to vested rights, mold liability, automated valuation models, and the Wet Settlement Act.
